We’ve all had bruschetta, all kinds of crostini and the ubiquitous avocado toast, but have you ever had grilled cornbread toasts?

We set up a cornbread bar for summer holiday gatherings with creative toppings for guests to make their preferred crunchy bite:

• whipped cinnamon butter, honey butter, strawberry butter and roasted garlic butter
• marinated tomatoes, tomato-onion salad or charred tomatoes with maple
• roasted peppers and red onions
• roasted strawberries and honey
• crispy bacon
